Trip to Iasos & Kos
Kelly and I recently visited Iasos, started flying to Amsterdam on September 24, 2025, then Istanbul, Turkey followed by a 1.5 flight to Bodrum, Turkey. We has a two day short visit to Kos, Greece. We stayed Ruyam Kartepe sitesi. Sunsets are amazing.

On the first Sunday, still slightly jet-lagged, we took the ferry to the Greek Island of Kos. Booked a hotel there and stayed one night. Did some shopping, checked out a few wind sport locations. The island has multiple. Even though it was unpredctable due to rain and clouds, Baskin scored a 55 minute session in Kefalos, Kos.
Then we took the ferry back to Bodrum. From there, Iasos is 1.5 hours by car. We also checked out another town called Yalikavak to get more wind which we did.
Finally on the next Saturday we flew to Istanbul. Stayed two nights at a hotel by the airport, had dinner with college buddies and their wives as we did previous year.
On Monday, took the flight to Amsterdam. One night stay by the airport to cut down the long trip and stay fresh, we came home Tuesday, October 2nd, 2025.
